Southern Thailand beach hopping

So, I’m leaving Thailand now and I haven’t written one blog post about my experiences here…that’s only one blog post worse than how I thought I’d do, haha. So, I guess I’ll start from the beginning…
We spent our first night in a hotel in Bangkok, we landed late at night, and then had a flight booked the next morning down to Krabi in Southern Thailand.

Our hotel in Bangkok had these awesome towel animals on the bed when we arrived.

We stayed at the Glur hostel there and it was great. The pool was great and we spent quite a bit of time in there.

There were a few hammocks at our hostel too, I enjoyed eating my breakfast sitting in them.

After checking in we went to the beach, and me and 2 other girls ended up getting massages there, as well as some crappy manicures.

We did book a kayaking adventure for the next day while there though.

Ronald McDonald is very culturally aware.

We met HughHugh/YoYo the next day (his name sounded different every time he said it), and he taught us how to kayak (“rip right, rip right”).

After kayaking around a few islands, we got back to our hostel that afternoon and met Marian as we were heading out to the Tiger Temple. The place was okay. We saw some monkeys and monks and then left.

We headed to Koh Lanta the next day. It was kinda crazy getting there, with 3 very packed vans (sometimes with angry Germans), and 2 ferry rides.

Koh Lanta was beautiful though.

We had the gorgeous beaches all to ourselves too.

We ate, layed on the beach, swam, ate, layed out, and ate some more for the next couple days. The Thai Cat restaurant fed us while we were there.

They were the best and even had our table set ready for us for our last meal there.

Our last stop on our vacation was Phi Phi Island.

We went snorkelling there in the most crystal clear waters.

The boat driver would throw pieces of bread to attract the fish, but it also freaked us out because so many fish would come to the bread, and he would always throw the bread practically right on top of us.

The next day we got a ferry back to Krabi where we flew back to Bangkok, and then drove up to Phichit that night!
