XI'AN

We got a weeklong vacation at the end of April/beginning of May, and with it we decided to fly to Xi'an, then head to Beijing afterwards for the rest of the week. I went to Xi'an last year and loved it and was excited to go again. So...after leaving Nalang I realized I forgot my camera battery charger. It was a sad sad realization. Thankfully the other girls were willing to help me out, taking pictures of me or for me when I asked so I could try to save my battery and make it last.We got to our hostel on Friday night and booked our tour to the Terra-Cotta army for the next day.
The Terra-Cotta warriors are amazing. I don't think a person can really know how amazing they are until they actually are there, looking at 2000+ warriors, all with different faces, and knowing that they are each representing an actual person that lived about 2200 years ago. It's a crazy thing to see.

Happy to see it again!

Be my boyfriend?

All of us with Lady Jaja, our great tour guide to the Terra-Cotta Army.

That night we went to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. There's a shopping mall there with a GIANT video screen as a ceiling. It was amazing.

The water show at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda that night. It was fantastic. We all got in and ran around, getting soaking wet. We got some Chinese people to join us too!

We went to the Muslim quarters the next day, did some shopping, and went to the Great Mosque. I love this place. It's a great escape from all the crazy shopping that surrounds it. It was very peaceful, and cool to be able to be there during their call to prayer.
